Well, I did time (in the Air Force) in Nebrasky for all of 4 years, with another 2 years spent dinking around Omaha and Papillion, so I suppose I’m sort of a Nebraskan. Already a month into twenty-ten. And another nail in the coffin of the twenty-oughts. What a weird decade that was for me. I didn’t really care for that decade…and yet my entire military career, the meeting and the marrying of my wife, and the adoption of my two awesome cats all occurred in that decade. It must be like my parents and their remembrance of the 1970s.
